Counseling Intensive
A counseling intensive is a
a few days where we have
come away from your daily life and its obligations in order to be
focused entirely on your healing.
What can I expect?

In a counseling intensive you
can expect to be
cared for deeply in a
safe, nurturing environment where you can focus entirely
on those issues that have kept you in bondage and brought you pain.
You can expect that I will be 100% focused on you. That is why we have come away from daily life, so that
I can give you all the attention and care needed so that you will
lose the anxiety, fears, wounds, guilt, sadness and obstacles that have kept you from truly living free.
You can expect that Christ will bring you healing, freedom and restoration.
You can also expect a
deeper, more intimate relationship with the Lord as one of the outcomes of an intensive.
You can expect to leave the intensive freer then you ever thought possible and with healing that will be
permanent and amazing.
I wasn't sure what to expect during the intensive or if God could really heal me but I had to do something, I just
counldn't live this way anymore. By the end of our weekend I was free! I couldn't believe it! Years of pain and it was over.
I mean I really was healed! I am still in awe of what God did during the intensive. I wish I had done it years ago.
What does the schedule look like?
Typically, we arrive in the late afternoon, get settled in and then have our first counseling session. There is
no time limit on the sessions
during an intensive so we might work for an hour, three, or more. We take breaks as you need them and for meals and rest but the majority of
the time we are working together so Christ can bring complete healing and freedom to your deep wounds and fears.
The counseling intensive schedule varies for each person but here is a good example:
Friday 3-6, 7-9 5 hours of counseling
Saturday 9-11, 1-4, 6-9 8 hours of counseling
Sunday 9-12 3 hours of counseling
Who is it for?
Intensives work best for those who have experienced:
- long term emotional and/or relational issues
- abuse and/or trauma
- those who want to
make significant progress in the least amount of time
- those who are
ready to be healed
What does it cost?
Intensive counseling includes resources, materials, necessary testing, a phone consultation before the intensive, all counseling sessions and
meals during the intensive and a follow-up phone session one to two weeks after the intensive. The total fee for the intensive is $1470.
Additional costs to you are a hotel suite with a separate living room where we will work together and any transportation costs to Phoenix and
the hotel. Typical check in is around 3:00 PM and we will end by 11:00 AM two days later. I will provide you with suggested hotels at
varying price ranges in Phoenix.

Can I just make an appointment for a counseling intensive?
Our first phone consultation is at no cost to you. We will talk a bit and see if an intensive is the best option for you. After that, we
will meet, either in person or by phone, for one to five sessions prior to the intensive. This will build a relationship between us and help
me to understand you and your issues before we begin. I dont want to waste any time when we get there so we do a bit of work on the front end.
My normal counseling fee applies to those sessions.
